Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felix Sturm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karter Kinshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felix Sturm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karter Kinshaw! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sturm displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kinshaw throws out the jab. Kinshaw scores with a kick to the body.
Kinshaw wants to clinch up but Sturm keeps it at a distance. A big left from Kinshaw misses. Kinshaw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sturm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sturm misses with a hook. Kinshaw ducked under it nicely. Kinshaw looks to clinch and Sturm counters with a nice uppercut. Sturm lands a nice shot to the body.
Kinshaw throws a head kick that half lands.

Kinshaw fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sturm checks it well. Karter Kinshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sturm throws a big shot that misses. Kinshaw slips a jab from Sturm. Kinshaw looks to land a body kick but Sturm moved away. A quick step to the side and Sturm tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Kinshaw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sturm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sturm tries to keep at a distance but Kinshaw has taken the fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kinshaw prevents a body shot from Sturm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinshaw lands an uppercut. Kinshaw misses with a body punch.
Sturm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kinshaw stuns Sturm with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kinshaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sturm was well out of range. Poor timing from Kinshaw. Kinshaw tries to clinch there but Sturm circles away.
Sturm staying out of range there. Kinshaw misses with a hook to the body
and Sturm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A shot to the liver by Sturm. Beautiful body shot. Sturm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kinshaw manages to avoid it. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sturm misses with a hook from the clinch. Sturm blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Sturm can't find room to land a body shot as Kinshaw controls the action.
Kinshaw gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Kinshaw has a couple of punches blocked by Sturm.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kinshaw blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Kinshaw blocks a body shot from Sturm. Kinshaw lands with a short head shot on the inside. Kinshaw creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Kinshaw tries to throw a body punch but Sturm avoids it by throwing Kinshaw back against the cage. Sturm blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kinshaw scores with a hook to the body. Sturm works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

I was talking to Sturm's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kinshaw tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kinshaw landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

A head punch on the inside from Sturm fails to land. Sturm misses with a body punch.
Kinshaw misses with a knee to the head. Kinshaw fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A shot in the inside from Sturm. Sturm misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sturm lands a body punch in the clinch. Kinshaw lands a hook that snaps the head of Sturm backwards. Sturm digs a right hand underneath Kinshaw's ribcage. Kinshaw let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kinshaw lands a damaging elbow. Sturm lands with a short shot to the head. Kinshaw blocking some punches.
Kinshaw blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kinshaw. Sturm throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kinshaws head. Sturm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sturm misses the jab. Kinshaw moves forwards but Sturm connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kinshaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sturm is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Kinshaw throws a hook but Sturm avoids it easily. Sturm is looking to counter punch. Sturm chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kinshaw can pounce on him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kinshaw misses with a low kick. A low kick from Kinshaw is predictable there and Sturm counters with a nice uppercut. Sturm connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kinshaw momentarily.
Kinshaw is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sturm drops Kinshaw with a naaaaasty hook - Kinshaw is in real trouble here! Sturm dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A very excited looking Felix Sturm made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
