Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Donnelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Harvey! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick there by Donnelly. Donnelly throws a right hand that misses
and Harvey counters with a stiff right hand. Donnelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harvey moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Donnelly misses with a hook
and Harvey counters with a straight right hand. Donnelly moves away from the strike by Harvey. Donnelly misses with a few strikes there.
Donnelly throws a quick inside leg kick. Harvey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Donnelly moves away. Harvey misses with a hook. Donnelly ducked under it nicely. Donnelly scores with a shot to the body.
Donnelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harvey sees it coming and avoids it easily. Donnelly scores with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harvey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Donnelly on the side of the head. Donnelly cracks Harvey with a right hand to the side of the head. Harvey throws a hook but Donnelly blocks it. Donnelly takes a body punch but keeps moving. Harvey checks a leg kick. Donnelly jabs at Harvey's body. Donnelly throws a head kick but Harvey moves out of range.
Donnelly misses the jab.

Harvey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Harvey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Donnelly throws a front kick aimed at Harvey's knee but Harvey avoids it well. Donnelly looks to throw a body kick and Donnelly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Harvey moves out of range of the body kick. Donnelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Harvey is just out of range. Harvey doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Harvey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harvey takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Harvey ducks under a wild hook from Donnelly. Donnelly throws a chopping leg kick but Harvey manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Harvey looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Harvey avoids a lazy jab quite easily. We've been told by Donnelly's head coaches at LOD Gym of the Gods that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Harvey tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Donnelly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Donnelly staying out of range there. Harvey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harvey jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab from Harvey misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donnelly looks to land a body kick but Harvey moved away. Harvey moves out of range of the leg kick from Donnelly. Donnelly looks to land a body kick but Harvey moved away. Harvey throws out a counter right but Donnelly avoids it with no problem. Donnelly misses with a double jab
and Harvey counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Donnelly thinking. Donnelly scores with a leg kick.
Harvey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Donnelly fires out a quick counter leg kick but Harvey just manages to avoid it. Donnelly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Harvey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Donnelly steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harvey. Donnelly misses with a straight right. Harvey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Donnelly loads up on a big right hand but Harvey slips the punch. It seemed like Harvey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Harvey lands with a kick to the temple. Donnelly shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Harvey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Donnelly. Donnelly circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Donnelly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Donnelly lands with a nice body kick. Donnelly throws a right hand that Harvey ducks under and follows up with a left that Harvey also avoids with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donnelly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooh!!! Harvey has knocked Donnelly down with a huge combo! Harvey steps away and waves a wobbly Donnelly back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Donnelly is rocked! Donnelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Harvey is just out of range. Oh Donnelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Harvey listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Donnelly ducks under a wild hook from Harvey. Donnelly seems to have got his legs back now. Harvey lands with a cross. Donnelly thows a leg kick but Harvey checks it and Harvey counters with a crisp right that sends Donnelly to the canvas! Harvey follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Harvey! Sean Harvey decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Brian Donnelly stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well shit.'.
