The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquet throws a right hand that Snitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Snitch also avoids with ease.
Marquet misses with a wild combination.
Snitch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marquet.
Snitch takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Marquet misses with a straight right.
Marquet swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marquet looks to land a right hand but Snitch moved out of range.
Snitch avoids the body shot from Marquet.
Snitch feinted with a counter takedown.
Marquet throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snitch.
Snitch drops down looking for a counter takedown but Marquet sprawls and moves away.
Marquet scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice takedown defense from Marquet. No joy for Snitch on that attempt.

Snitch shoots in for a double leg but Marquet sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Marquet tries to clinch but Snitch is having none of it.

Snitch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marquet sprawls well. Marquet wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snitch gets slowly back to his feet.

Marquet uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Snitch has time to react.

The referee is keeping an eye on Snitch - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Snitch is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Marquet is defending well.

Marquet lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Snitch backwards.

Marquet has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Snitch uses from the top position.
Marquet wants to sweep here but Snitch controlling him for the moment.
Snitch tries to free his leg and advance position but Marquet is retaining full guard.
Marquet can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snitch controls the pace.
