Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pjotr Sorokin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jermaine Hill has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jermaine Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pjotr Sorokin! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorokin moves into the clinch. Hill tries for a takedown but Sorokin manages to get underhooks.
Sorokin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sorokin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sorokin is on top in guard.
Hill trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Sorokin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sorokin works over Hill with some ground and pound from guard. Sorokin is taking a break and basically stalling. Sorokin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hill works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sorokin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorokin gets to his feet - Hill follows without any prompting. Sorokin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sorokin fails in his attempt to clinch. Hill gets tackled into the cage by Sorokin. Sorokin maintains the clinch. Sorokin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hill wants to get back to striking at distance but Sorokin won't allow it.

Sorokin is pressed up against the cage. Hill has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sorokin down to the mat. Sorokin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hill keeps the fight on the outside. Sorokin instigates a clinch. Sorokin has Hill pressed against the cage.
Hill is trying to pull guard but Sorokin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jermaine Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hill goes for a takedown attempt but Sorokin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sorokin stuffs the takedown attempt from Hill. Hill gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sorokin closes the distance and pushes Hill back into the cage. Sorokin has clasped his hands together around Hill's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Hill is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Hill stops Sorokin from passing to mount. Hill is being controlled here. Sorokin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hill to his feet. Crunch! Sorokin slams his shin into Hill's torso. Sorokin looking to score a takedown here. Hill is defending well but Sorokin drives through and ends up in Hill's guard. Sorokin scoring with punches to the head and body. Hill can't keep his opponent in guard - Sorokin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill tries to roll over but Sorokin keeps him under control. Sorokin trying to control the pace. Sorokin stands up from half guard. Sorokin moves into the clinch. Sorokin stops a takedown attempt from Hill.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sorokin pulls guard successfully.
Sorokin scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Sorokin has hold of one of Hill's legs. Hill is fighting the takedown attempt but Sorokin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Sorokin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sorokin passes Hill's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sorokin content to control rather than advance. Sorokin moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pjotr Sorokin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Sorokin wants the takedown. Hill is fighting it off but Sorokin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hill's guard against the cage. Sorokin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sorokin passes Hill's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sorokin works his way into side control. Sorokin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sorokin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hill has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sorokin but great work by Hill.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorokin is pushing Hill's head away, looking to escape. Hill manages to hold on to the position though. Sorokin is looking for a sweep. Sorokin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hill's best efforts. Sorokin wants to control but Hill is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sorokin holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Sorokin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hill. Hill not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sorokin keeping control of the position. Sorokin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hill pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sorokin manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hill keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Sorokin jumps guard.
Sorokin wants to hit a switch here but Hill passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sorokin there! Hill could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sorokin tries to hold on but Hill postures up. Sorokin is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sorokin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Sorokin is pressing down on Hill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hill with a flurry of punches that miss. Sorokin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sorokin is pulling down on Hill's head to control his posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pjotr Sorokin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Sorokin tries to work over Hill's front leg with a kick but Hill checks it. Sorokin has Hill up against the cage in a clinch.
Hill swings wildly with an uppercut but Sorokin uses good head movement to avoid it. Hill is trying to drag Sorokin to the mat but Sorokin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sorokin drags the fight down to the ground.
Pjotr Sorokin has got the better of the ground game so far. Sorokin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hill is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sorokin throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill is posturing up here but Sorokin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hill tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hill has to tap! Slick submission there by Sorokin!
