Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Dean Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dean Wesson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Hunt! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wesson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hunt's sensitive parts. A bone on bone clash there as Wesson blocks the leg kick.
Hunt looks to land a body kick but Wesson moved away. Hunt blocks a head kick by Wesson.
Hunt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Wesson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Hunt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hunt stalling in the clinch but Wesson improves position. Hunt wants to get back to striking at distance but Wesson won't allow it.
Hunt wants to stall.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Wesson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in the clinch, Wesson scores with a nice short uppercut. Hunt managing to block the knees to the body from Wesson.
Wesson lands a right hand. Hunt is trying to force a seperation but Wesson has the dominant position. Hunt avoiding damage as Wesson throws knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt tries to stall but Wesson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hunt takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hunt on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hunt tries to break free but Wesson pushes him back against the ropes. Wesson misses with an elbow over the top. Nice body punch from Wesson - that landed with a thud.
Wesson pushes Hunt back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. A nice left hand lands by Wesson.
Hunt is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Wesson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Wesson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hunt's efforts to push away. Hunt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wesson trying to land knees to the body.
Wesson lands a body punch in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wesson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hunt has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Wesson seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hunt can turn it around. Hunt can't break the clinch.
Wesson scores with a shoulder strike. Hunt looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Wesson lands a shoulder strike. A hook to the body from Wesson.
This has been an exciting period of action! With the fighters up against the ropes, Wesson throws an elbow but misses. Hunt breaks from the clinch.
Wesson throws a nice head kick!
Wesson throws a nice looking combination but Hunt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wesson connects with an inside leg kick. Hunt clinches. Wesson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Wesson blocks a body shot from Hunt. Wesson tries to land knees in the clinch but Hunt avoids the damage to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dean Wesson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wesson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wesson connects with an inside leg kick. Wesson steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Hunt to the mat! Hunt looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Wesson is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Wesson jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dean Wesson! Dean Wesson made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Hey Stryka, wanna throw down? Two great strikers going at it. How about a war for the fans!'.
