Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenalemodisa Mabogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Texas Pete is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Texas Pete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenalemodisa Mabogo! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pete tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mabogo was well out of range. Poor timing from Pete. Mabogo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kenalemodisa Mabogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mabogo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pete! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mabogo fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mabogo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Pete is looking to reverse the position. Pete stops Mabogo from passing to mount. Mabogo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pete will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mabogo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pete is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mabogo trying to control the action but Pete is working from the bottom. Mabogo tries to move to mount but Pete blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pete tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mabogo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. An elbow from Mabogo crashes against the mat.
Mabogo throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Pete is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pete dodges the ground and pound from Mabogo. Mabogo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pete is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pete is not content to let Mabogo control the position. Pete prevents Mabogo from moving into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mabogo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pete! Mabogo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pete is on top in guard.
Mabogo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mabogo wants to sweep here but Pete controlling him for the moment. Mabogo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Mabogo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mabogo seems keen to control Pete's posture. Mabogo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Mabogo is trying to control the position but Pete postures up. Mabogo looking for a sweep. Not yet Mabogo, not yet. Mabogo is still trying to improve position. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mabogo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mabogo is looking to control Pete's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mabogo avoid being mounted? The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mabogo tries to roll over but Pete keeps him under control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mabogo rushes Pete and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pete keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mabogo's efforts to push away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pete stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Pete throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mabogos head. Pete breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenalemodisa Mabogo dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nice sprawl there from Pete as Mabogo shoots in. Mabogo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pete manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pete throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mabogo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mabogo with a lazy takedown attempt and Pete counters with a stiff right hand. Mabogo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pete avoids it really well and circles away. Texas Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenalemodisa Mabogo. Pete lands a front kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mabogo walks into a straight right hand from Pete.
It looks like Kenalemodisa Mabogo has been cut. Mabogo walks straight into a right hand from Pete - that's dropped him! Pete jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mabogo from any more punishment! Mabogo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Texas Pete! A very excited looking Texas Pete made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
