The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janicek looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Janicek fakes the leg kick and cracks Wyatt in the body.
Janicek throws a sloppy head kick and Wyatt moves out of range easily.

Wyatt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Janicek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Janicek wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Wyatt tries to land a front kick but Janicek steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Wyatt jumps guard and drags Janicek to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wyatt has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Janicek is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wyatt wants the takedown. Janicek is fighting it off but Wyatt persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Janicek's guard against the cage.
Wyatt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wyatt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Wyatt gets to his feet. Janicek looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Otokar Janicek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Janicek is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Janicek.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wyatt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Janicek's efforts to push away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wyatt looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Janicek is defending well. Wyatt quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Janicek has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wyatt celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
