Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spanky Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riff Jetson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar comes to the cage accompanied by Kick In The Door. Riff Jetson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Riff Jetson!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jetson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Edgar defends well and Jetson ends up having to push Edgar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A lazy body kick from Jetson
and Edgar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Edgar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jetson throws a body shot but no joy.
Edgar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jetson.

Edgar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jetson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jetson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Edgar.

Edgar throws out a loose jab but Jetson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jetson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

We've been hearing reports that Edgar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Edgar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jetson was well out of range. Poor timing from Edgar.

A little jabbing left from Jetson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jetson wants to control but Edgar is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Jetson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Edgar pulls his head out easily.
Jetson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jetson has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Edgar throwing shots but Jetson is blocking nicely.

Jetson is looking for a sweep. Edgar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Edgar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jetson on the ground.
Edgar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jetson's head.
Jetson tries to get to full guard but Edgar has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jetson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Edgar defends it easily.

Jetson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Edgar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jetson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Edgar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Edgar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Spanky Edgar will probably get the nod.

Edgar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jetson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edgar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jetson pushes a forearm under Edgar's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Edgar is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
