Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Kosheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kosheck has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Kosheck! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Kosheck with that takedown attempt. Cobb shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kosheck wants to get back to full guard. Kosheck is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kosheck moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kosheck keeping full guard, as Cobb tries to pass. Kosheck looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cobb puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kosheck looks gassed! Cobb seems to be working for a kimura but Kosheck defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kosheck moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cobb won't allow Kosheck to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cobb is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kosheck looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cobb puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Cobb trying to pass the guard but Kosheck defending well. Kosheck wants to get back to full guard but Cobb has mounted him! Cobb could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cobb wants to finish this one by submission but Kosheck is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cobb. Kosheck is trying desperately to improve position. Cobb working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kosheck is looking to improve his position but Cobb isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kosheck tries to improve his position but Cobb has taken his back! Cobb has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Kosheck tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Cobb pushes Kosheck away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
