Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Paul Delay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Shan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Theo Shan enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Delay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Theo Shan! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delay gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Shan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Delay closes the distance and clinches. Delay has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Delay blocks an uppercut.
Shan misses with a hook from the clinch. Shan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Shan breaks from the clinch.
Delay throws a head kick but Shan moves out of range.
Shan looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Shan avoids the head kick by Delay.
Shan tries to counter with a clinch but Delay shakes him off and moves away. A head kick misses from Delay. Delay has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delay letting Shan take a breather here. Delay tries to break free but Shan pushes him back against the ropes. Shan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Delay.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delay stalling in the clinch but Shan improves position. Shan manages to break the clinch.
Shan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Shan tries a low kick but Delay avoids it. Shan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Shan throws a series of punches but Delay avoids them all with ease. Delay wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Delay connects with a single shot there. Shan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Delay takes the fight into the clinch. Shan misses with a short punch on the inside. Shan tries to circle away but Delay has him pinned against the ropes. Delay has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A frustrated look appears on Shan's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shan manages to break the clinch.
Delay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Delay throws a wild body kick that Shan sees coming a mile off. Shan throws a counter combo. Delay tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Delay is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Delay tries to clinch but Shan moves out of range. Delay tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Shan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shan throws a fast counter high kick but Delay manages to duck under it in time. Delay gets tackled into the ropes by Shan. Shan maintains the clinch. Delay tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shan's elbow. Delay has Shan pressed against the ropes, preventing Shan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Shan misses with the head strike.
Delay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Paul Delay will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Delay throws a half hearted mid kick. Shan tries to clinch but Delay is having none of it. Shan moves to clinch but Delay breaks away and Delay makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Shan fails in his attempt to clinch. Delay is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Shan looks to clinch and Delay counters with a left and a right that stings Shan. Delay cracks Shan with an open hand slap. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delay throws a sloppy head kick and Shan moves out of range easily. Delay clinches up with Shan and pushes him back against the ropes. Shan holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Shan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Shan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A combination from Shan does no damage. Shan tries to clinch and Delay counters with a series of strikes. Shan will be more careful next time no doubt. Delay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. As Delay backs off Shan throws a huge counter combo but Delay manages to avoid it all. Delay is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shan can do to turn this around? Shan throws a body shot but no joy. Delay rushes Shan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Delay looking to slow down the pace here. Delay lands a hook to the side of the head. Shan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Delay is trying to maintain a safe position but Shan gets an underhook and turns Delay into the ropes.

Shan struggles to land a body shot inside as Delay controls his hands.
Delay is looking to break free of the clinch but Shan has double underhooks. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Shan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Delay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shan doesn't manage to clinch there - Delay circles away.
Delay is looking to counter the offense by Shan and move into the clinch. Shan misses with a hook. Delay ducked under it nicely. Paul Delay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Delay throws a half hearted mid kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Delay dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Shan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Good shot there by Delay. Delay doesn't manage to clinch there - Shan circles away.
Shan moves out of range of the body kick from Delay.
Shan throws a counter combo. Delay rushes Shan and presses him up against the ropes. Delay avoiding damage.
Delay is looking to control Shan's arms but Shan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Delay has his back to the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Shan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Delay's brow. Shan manages to break the clinch.
Delay gets a clinch. Shan breaks the clinch.
Delay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Shan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shan goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Delay swats away the attempt to clinch by Shan. Paul Delay is winning the standup battle so far. Shan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Delay. Delay tries to clinch up but Shan circles away and keeps his distance. Shan tries to bum rush Delay with a series of wild strikes but Delay uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Delay shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shan eats them both and turns towards Delay to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Shan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Delay throws a head kick but Shan moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good work by Shan as he checks the leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shan clinches up against the ropes. Shan is trying to break the clinch but Delay is controlling him. Shan tries to throw a body punch but Delay avoids it by throwing Shan back against the ropes. Delay content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the ropes. Paul Delay has scored more points in the clinch so far. Shan managing to block the knees to the body from Delay.
Shan keeps control of Delay as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Delay stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Delay is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shan is defending well for now. Theo Shan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Paul Delay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shan unloads a knee to the mid-section.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Delay showed his dominance in that final round. Well Delay has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
