Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladdy Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozlov comes to the cage accompanied by Era - Ameno. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head throws a hook to the side of Kozlov's head but Kozlov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Head ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kozlov moves away.
Head scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A big left from Head misses.
Kozlov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Head as he avoids it easily.
Head drops Kozlov with a right and a left! Head comes rushing in but Kozlov regains his composure and manages to keep Head in guard.
It looks like Vladdy Kozlov has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kozlov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Head seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kozlov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kozlov wants to take a breather but Head is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Head is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kozlov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kozlov's back!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kozlov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Head as he jumps to the side.
Kozlov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Head swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kozlov throws a series of punches but Head moves out of range.

Vladdy Kozlov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Head avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Head fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Kozlov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kozlov wants to free his trapped foot but Head is holding on for dear life with his legs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kozlov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kozlov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Head's head.
Kozlov is looking to take a break and control but Head is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kozlov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kozlov shoots in looking for a takedown. Head tries to sprawl out of it but Kozlov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Head manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kozlov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Head missing with a left hand there. Kozlov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Kozlov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

I've got Head winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
