Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dewey Benton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Biggie The Fourth! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from The Fourth. The Fourth with a poor takedown letting Benton counter with a right hand. The Fourth closes the distance and clinches up with Benton, looking for a takedown. The Fourth pushes Benton against the cage but Benton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dewey Benton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biggie The Fourth. Benton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The Fourth is looking to sweep but instead, Benton has passed into half guard.
The Fourth is controlling Benton's trapped leg to prevent Benton from advancing to side control. The Fourth is pressing down on Benton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Fourth working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benton is looking to control The Fourth's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Benton avoid being mounted? The Fourth is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
