The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkpatrick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wunce gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wunce has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kirkpatrick is trying to keep an underhook but Wunce manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wunce makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wunce.
Kirkpatrick slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wunce is trying to control but can't.

Kirkpatrick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wunce with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

I would just about give that final round to Dee Kirkpatrick.
Well Wunce has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
