Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Balla Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bato Dela Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Balla Boy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bato Dela Rosa! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dela Rosa circles away. Dela Rosa shoots in but Boy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Some wild striking there from Boy.
Dela Rosa closes the distance and pushes Boy back into the cage. Boy is working for takedown but Dela Rosa is calmly controlling the position for now. Dela Rosa prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balla Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dela Rosa is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy wants the takedown. Dela Rosa is fighting it off but Boy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dela Rosa's guard against the cage. Boy trying to control but Dela Rosa is working from the bottom. Boy prevents Dela Rosa from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dela Rosa pushes Boy off and gets back to his feet.
Dela Rosa pushes Boy up against the cage in a clinch. Dela Rosa jumps guard and drags Boy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dela Rosa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dela Rosa controls Boy momentarily but Boy frees himself. Dela Rosa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Boy manages to pass to side control. Boy thows a huge punch but Dela Rosa dodges it nicely.
Boy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boy is working for a kimura but Dela Rosa is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dela Rosa pushes Boy off looking to stand but Boy dives back in and keeps control.
Boy is stalling here. Dela Rosa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Boy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dela Rosa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Boy is looking to regain half guard here but Dela Rosa keeps moving and retains side control. Dela Rosa stands up and beckons Boy to his feet. Boy tries to clinch but Dela Rosa moves out of range. Dela Rosa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boy as he avoids it easily. Boy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dela Rosa closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dela Rosa can't fight it off and eventually Boy manages to take the fight to the floor. Dela Rosa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Boy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Boy looking to sit in guard and control but Dela Rosa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dela Rosa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dela Rosa tries to stand but Boy is controlling from the bottom. Dela Rosa tries to free his leg and advance position but Boy is retaining full guard. Dela Rosa trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom. Dela Rosa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dela Rosa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Dela Rosa passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dela Rosa prevents Boy from improving his position. Still in half guard, Dela Rosa seems content to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boy is trying to get back to full guard. Boy trying to get back to full guard but Dela Rosa takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bato Dela Rosa dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dela Rosa fails with a takedown attempt. Boy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dela Rosa. Dela Rosa gets in close and instigates a clinch. Boy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dela Rosa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Boy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dela Rosa fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dela Rosa did well to prevent Boy getting side control. Dela Rosa kicks off Boy and gets to his feet. Boy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dela Rosa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balla Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boy has his takedown stuffed and Dela Rosa counters with a straight punch to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Boy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boy wants it to stay on the feet. Balla Boy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dela Rosa defends well and Boy ends up having to push Dela Rosa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dela Rosa closes the distance and pushes Boy back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dela Rosa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dela Rosa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Boy in his tracks. Dela Rosa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boy, pushing him back against the cage. Dela Rosa prevents the takedown attempt.
Boy has Dela Rosa pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dela Rosa manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dela Rosa breaks from the clinch.
Boy shoots in for a takedown but Dela Rosa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dela Rosa throws a counter combo. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boy throws a leg kick and Dela Rosa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Boy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boy wants it to stay on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Boy or perhaps it was just good defense by Dela Rosa, which made it look bad. Dela Rosa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Boy shoots in looking for a takedown but Dela Rosa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dela Rosa clinches with his opponent.
Dela Rosa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dela Rosa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Oooooh!!! Dela Rosa has knocked Boy down with a huge combo! Dela Rosa steps away and waves a wobbly Boy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Boy is rocked! Boy shoots and misses and Dela Rosa counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Boy to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Dela Rosa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bato Dela Rosa! Balla Boy was interviewed post fight and said 'I was robbed'.
