The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dela Rosa circles away.
Dela Rosa shoots in but Boy avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Boy is stalling here. Dela Rosa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Boy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dela Rosa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Boy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dela Rosa can't fight it off and eventually Boy manages to take the fight to the floor. Dela Rosa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
