Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mohammed Qissi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tommy Bruce!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qissi shoots in and bounces Bruce off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Qissi pushes down on Bruce's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Qissi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Qissi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Qissi is taking a breather. Bruce says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Qissi working over Bruce with some ground and pound. Bruce looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Qissi drops an elbow to the side of Bruce's head.
Bruce is looking to escape.

Qissi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bruce is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
