Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paavo Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marquan Weatherspoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paavo Potku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marquan Weatherspoon! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potku lands an overhand right. A nice leg kick lands there from Potku. Weatherspoon with a jab. Potku connects with a leg kick. Weatherspoon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Potku avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice jab there from Potku. Weatherspoon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Weatherspoon takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Weatherspoon misses with a series of wild punches.
Weatherspoon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Potku. Weatherspoon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Potku. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Potku.
Weatherspoon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weatherspoon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Potku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Potku bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Potku throws a head kick that misses and Weatherspoon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Potku's guard. Weatherspoon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Weatherspoon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Weatherspoon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Weatherspoon drops back looking for a leg! Potku is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Potku manages to kick Weatherspoon off! Weatherspoon jumps back into Potku's guard. Potku avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weatherspoon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Potku's head. Weatherspoon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Potku manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Weatherspoon has Potku in his guard. Weatherspoon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Potku trying to control the position from guard on top but Weatherspoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Potku looking to pass the guard. Potku has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Weatherspoon is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Potku rolls with it to try and escape but Weatherspoon cranks on the arm and Potku is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marquan Weatherspoon! Marquan Weatherspoon decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
