Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Maciel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Odenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luciano Maciel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Odenson!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciel throws a right hand that Odenson ducks under and follows up with a left that Odenson also avoids with ease.
Odenson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Maciel's head backwards.
Maciel misses with a wild combination.
A little jabbing left from Odenson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Odenson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Odenson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Odenson lands a nice shot to the body.
Odenson connects with a right hand. Maciel shakes it off.
Maciel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Odenson counters with a nice uppercut.

Odenson flicks out a counter leg kick but Maciel steps away.

Odenson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Odenson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Maciel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Odenson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Odenson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Maciel pushes Odenson up against the cage in a clinch.
Odenson looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Nice body punch from Odenson.
Maciel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Maciel manages to end up in side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Odenson pushes Maciel away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Maciel gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Odenson regains half guard, as Maciel was trying to land strikes.
Maciel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maciel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Odenson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Maciel is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Jitz MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Maciel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maciel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A close round but Thor Odenson will probably get the nod.

and Odenson counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Maciel! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
