Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar comes to the cage accompanied by KoRn En Vivo Mtv. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Renzo Alves !
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Escobar misses with a straight right.
Alves misses with a hook. Escobar ducked under it nicely.

Escobar pushes Alves up against the cage in a clinch.

Escobar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Alves or not.
Escobar misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Escobar tries a body shot but Alves blocks it.
Alves lands an elbow inside that Escobar shrugs off.

Escobar tries to work over Alves 's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

We've been informed that Alves has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alves will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Escobar up against the cage.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Alves 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Escobar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Escobar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alves s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Escobar shoots for a double leg takedown but Alves sprawls well. He's pushed Escobar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alves shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
