Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barney Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mon Ster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumble comes into the arena with Queens of the Stone Age - My God is the Sun blaring out of the sound system. Mon Ster told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble swings for the body but Ster moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rumble.
Rumble throws a big shot that misses.
Rumble throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ster counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Barney Rumble has been cut.
Rumble chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ster can pounce on him.
Ster moves out of range of the body kick.
Ster throws a lazy right hand but Rumble sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rumble has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rumble there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rumble misses with a hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rumble.
Barney Rumble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rumble scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Rumble takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rumble throws the kick towards the body but Ster avoids it.
Ster takes one on the button.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rumble.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ster throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ster looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rumble keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ster.
A little feinted left hand from Rumble on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rumble throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A low kick from Ster is predictable there
letting Rumble counter with a right hand.
Rumble on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ster. Ster obviously looking to wear him down.
Rumble blocks a head kick by Ster.
Rumble works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rumble ducks under a wild hook from Ster.
Ster moves out of range of the body kick.
Rumble lands with a nice body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rumble, right into the meat.
Rumble swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rumble avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ster throws a series of punches but Rumble avoids them all with ease.

Rumble throws a shot from downtown. Ster moves away and avoids it.
Rumble stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ster sizes up Rumble with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rumble throws a leg kick that misses.
Rumble scores with a nice head shot.
Ster throws out a loose jab but Rumble uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rumble fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ster on the side of the head.
That has opened up Mon Ster's cut even more.
Rumble swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ster.
Rumble lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ster throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rumble throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ster on the side of the head.
Rumble looks to land a left hand but Ster moved out of range nicely.
It seemed like Ster was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ster turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ster throws a low kick but Rumble moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rumble with a hook.
Ster takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A bone on bone clash there as Ster blocks the leg kick.
Ster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ster tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rumble takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rumble lands a front kick.
Ster misses with a head kick.
Rumble moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ster throws a low kick but Rumble avoids it.
Rumble tries to score with a low kick but Ster moves his leg out of the way.
Rumble throws a body punch but Ster moves out of range.
Ster looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Rumble lands with a kick to the ribs.
Rumble scores with a jab to the head.
The cut above Mon Ster's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rumble, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ster looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rumble turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rumble swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rumble throws a sloppy head kick and Ster moves out of range easily.
Rumble looks for the body kick but Ster saw that one coming.
Ster looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ster.
Rumble misses with a straight left.
Ster tries a quick counter leg kick but Rumble is wise to it.
Rumble scores with a jab to the head.
Mon Ster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A cross from Rumble lands.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mon Ster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Barney Rumble!
Barney Rumble decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
