PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raine Babe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes into the arena with All Summer Long blaring out of the sound system. Babe has chosen The Rain Song by Led Zeppelin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Babe finds it's way round the side to connect with Brandon's head.

Babe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Babe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brandon manages to avoid it.

Brandon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Babe.

Brandon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Brandon lands with a hook. Babe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Babe keeps Brandon at a distance using the push kick.
Brandon lands a glancing blow to the side of Babe's head.
Brandon tries to close the distance and clinch but Babe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Babe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brandon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Brandon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brandon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Babe can pounce on him.

Brandon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Babe!
