The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Pope.
Pope has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Body Pain_14elite_700$+VM in the buildup to the fight.
Pope connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Polo ducks under a wild hook from Pope.
And Polo tries to counter it with a takedown but Pope pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Pope tries to land a front kick but Polo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A little jabbing left from Polo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Polo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Polo connects with a nice short shot to Pope's temple.

Pope is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Polo can do to turn this around?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Polo moves forwards but Pope connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Polo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
It looked like Pope wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Polo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Polo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Polo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Polo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pope pulls his leg out and moves away.

Marco Polo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pope has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
