The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ambrose counters with a nice low kick that buckles Machado's knee momentarily.

enabling Ambrose to counter with a crisp jab.
Ambrose ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Machado throws a right hand that misses
and Ambrose counters with a straight right hand.
Ambrose stuffs the takedown.

Machado darts in looking for a takedown but Ambrose gets double underhooks and turns Machado into the cage.

Ambrose's corner calls for a 1-2. Ambrose obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Machado misses with a takedown attempt - Ambrose sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ambrose looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Machado has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Machado there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ambrose lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Machado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ambrose can pounce on him.
Ambrose lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Machado throws a lazy uppercut
and Ambrose counters with a nice right hand that sends Machado toppling to the canvas! Machado scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ambrose finish him?!
Machado is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machado just misses with a punch to the body.
Machado is still on wobbly legs! Can Ambrose finish him?
Machado tries for a takedown but Ambrose sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Machado seems to have recovered his senses.
Ambrose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Machado.
Ambrose feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Ambrose cracks Machado with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Machado looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ambrose finish him?
Machado slips a jab and a cross from Ambrose.
Machado is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Ambrose throws a quick inside leg kick.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ambrose engages and cracks Machado with a massive lead left hook - Machado tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ambrose is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
