Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MIke Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Conner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, MIke Max! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Max swats him away and circles back towards the center. Max throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Conner. Conner clinches. Max wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Max jumps into guard, dragging Conner to the mat.
Conner is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conner postures up.
Conner passes easily into side control. Nice work. Conner controls the position from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. What's Max going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Conner is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Max's shoulder. That is not cool. Conner lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Conner tries to stand but Max is controlling his head. Conner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Conner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Conner trying to control the position but Max is working away. Max throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Conner cracks Max with an elbow. That is naaassty. Max really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Max is trying to control Conner's posture but Conner avoids it. Conner trying to control the position but Max is working away. Conner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Max knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Conner working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Conner wants to control but Max is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Max's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Max stops Conner from passing to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conner just content to control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kent Conner dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Conner shoots in looking for a takedown but Max manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Conner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Max tries to bum rush Conner with a series of wild strikes but Conner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Max gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Conner to score an easy takedown into full guard. Max looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Conner throws a big elbow that misses. Conner pushing down on Max's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Max trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conner slows the pace down in half guard. Conner wants to pass to mount but Max is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Max is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Conner scores with a couple of nice shots. Conner stalling. Conner is looking for a kimura but Max is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Conner to get the leverage. Conner is trying to control. Max wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kent Conner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Conner is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Max has managed to free his arm - good work. Conner with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. It looks like Conner is going to stand back up.
Max wants to control but Conner passes into side.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Max keeps the fight on the outside. Conner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Max is breathing heavily. Conner is trying to control the action in half guard but Max is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Conner is looking for a kimura but Max is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Conner to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Conner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Max trying to control but Conner postures up.
Conner perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Max tries to roll over but Conner keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kent Conner dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Max with a body punch. A glancing blow. Max instigates a clinch. Conner pulls guard effortlessly. Conner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Max. Conner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Max is aware though and is defending well. Max stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conner swivels though and keeps the full guard. Conner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Max is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conner pulls Max in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Conner trying to keep a closed guard but Max is proving a slippery customer.
Max is fighting to break Conner's control of his arms but Conner is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Nice move. Max wants to stand back up but Conner manages to pass into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Conner has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Max! Conner raining down shots from the mount! Max can't escape the position.
Conner trying to control but he's not successful this time. Conner won't let Max get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conner content just to control the position here. Max tries to reverse the position but Conner maintains control. A nice elbow there by Conner. Max is bucking up trying to escape but Conner cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Max is wriggling around trying to escape.
Conner scoring with strikes but Max is staying in there. Conner controlling the position easily from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conner connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Kent Conner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
