Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donerverie The Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Hyde is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donerverie The Dragon! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Dragon fails with the takedown. Hyde throws a body shot but no joy. The Dragon fails with the takedown. Hyde stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hyde wants it to stay on the feet. Ray Hyde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donerverie The Dragon. The Dragon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hyde swivels and escapes. Hyde throws a head kick but The Dragon moves out of range.
The Dragon steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hyde. Hyde misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The Dragon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hyde sprawls well. Hyde wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Dragon gets slowly back to his feet. It looked like Hyde was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hyde closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into The Dragon's guard. Hyde postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hyde landing with the ground and pound. Hyde throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The Dragon works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hyde drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Dragon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hyde has The Dragon in his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyde changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Dragon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The Dragon throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Excellent takedown into side control there by Hyde. The Dragon sneaks out the side door and pushes Hyde away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The Dragon shoots for a double leg takedown but Hyde sprawls well. He's pushed The Dragon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hyde closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Dragon did well to prevent Hyde getting side control. Hyde thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed The Dragon's head.

Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from The Dragon!
The Dragon decides to stand back up. The Dragon steps back and let's Hyde get back to his feet. The Dragon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hyde is looking for a counter combo. The Dragon misses with a takedown attempt and Hyde counters with a left to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from The Dragon. Hyde throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. The Dragon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hyde is in The Dragon's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ray Hyde will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The Dragon fails with a takedown attempt. Ray Hyde is winning the standup battle so far. The Dragon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice sprawl there from Hyde as The Dragon shoots in. As The Dragon looks to move away, Hyde throws a big counter combo but The Dragon just gets out of the way. The Dragon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hyde half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. The Dragon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The Dragon is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Dragon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hyde tries to bum rush The Dragon with a series of wild strikes but The Dragon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The Dragon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hyde sprawls well. Hyde wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. The Dragon gets slowly back to his feet. Hyde postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The Dragon wants to stand but Hyde is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyde in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hyde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hyde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hyde works over The Dragon with some ground and pound from guard. Hyde loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hyde lands with a nice body punch. No luck for The Dragon with that takedown attempt. Hyde drops down looking for a counter takedown but The Dragon sprawls and moves away. Hyde throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And that's the end of the fight! Ray Hyde showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hyde, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
