Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Steve Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Hicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seth Hunter! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hicks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hunter's hands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hunter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hunter throws a sloppy head kick and Hicks moves out of range easily. Hicks is looking to counter punch. Hunter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hicks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hunter tries to clinch up but Hicks circles away and keeps his distance. Hicks connects with a looping right hand.
Hunter slips a jab and a cross from Hicks.
Hicks lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hicks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hicks connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hunter. Hunter circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hicks avoids the head kick by Hunter.
Hunter tries to clinch there but Hicks circles away.
Hicks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hunter at a distance.
Hunter tries to clinch up but Hicks circles away and keeps his distance. Hicks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hunter fails in his attempt to clinch. Hicks blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Hunter has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Hicks lands a lovely overhand right. Hicks avoids the head kick by Hunter.
A quick step to the side and Hicks tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Hicks is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Hicks digs a good body shot into Hunter's ribs. A head kick by Hunter misses and Hicks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Seth Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hicks connects with a body shot. Hunter looks winded! Hicks moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hunter is rocked! Hicks connects with a quick right hand that sends Hunter tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Steve Hicks! A relieved looking Steve Hicks thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
