Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Limoncello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Limoncello has chosen Swamped - Lacuna Coil as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong slips a jab from Limoncello.
Limoncello swings for the body but Wong moves out of range.
Limoncello misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wong.
Horrible takedown by Limoncello or perhaps it was just good defense by Wong which made him look bad.
Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Limoncello paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Limoncello.

Limoncello rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wong swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Limoncello connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Wong wants to control but Limoncello is keeping him busy.

Wong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Limoncello defends it well.
Limoncello wants to get back to his feet.
Limoncello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, if Wong is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Limoncello wants to stand and escape but Wong is having none of it.
Limoncello is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Limoncello tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wong swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
