Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between TooReal Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt DeLap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by Through the Fire and Flames. Matt DeLap will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, TooReal Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt DeLap!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but DeLap is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
DeLap doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

DeLap wriggles free and stands up.
A big right from DeLap misses.
Nice uppercut lands for DeLap. That snapped Snow's head back.
DeLap stuffs the takedown.
Snow looks to land a combination but DeLap avoids it well.
Snow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Snow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeLap pinned against the cage. DeLap gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
DeLap circles away from the clinch attempt.
Snow slips a straight right by DeLap.
Jab by DeLap.
Snow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says DeLap as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TooReal Snow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
DeLap throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Snow takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
DeLap missing with a left hand there. Snow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
DeLap misses with a straight left.

Snow fails with an attempt to clinch.

DeLap throws the left hand but Snow avoids the punch easily.

DeLap looks to throw the jab but Snow is out of range.
Matt DeLap is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Snow is looking to clinch.

DeLap gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Snow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as DeLap walks away with a smile on his face. Snow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Snow closes this distance looking for a takedown but DeLap circles away.
Snow is breathing heavily.
Nice defenses there by Snow.
DeLap thumps Snow with a low kick.
DeLap misses with a series of wild punches.

Snow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DeLap as he jumps to the side.
DeLap scores with a jab. Snow acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
DeLap waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Snow. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Snow to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


Snow is rocked!


It looks like TooReal Snow has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeLap lands a couple of digs.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
DeLap looking to pass the guard.
DeLap postures up and lands a big shot to Snow's brow.
DeLap postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

DeLap stands up and waves to Snow to follow him.
DeLap chopping away at his opponent's legs.

DeLap moves into range and clinches up with Snow.

DeLap leaning against his opponent.
DeLap is leaning against Snow and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A nice left hand lands by DeLap.
DeLap creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Snow's defenses.
DeLap stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

DeLap manages to break the clinch.
Snow takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
DeLap is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Snow had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Snow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from DeLap.
DeLap bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snow's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
DeLap connects with a jab.
DeLap sends Snow crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! DeLap is motioning to the referee to let Snow up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
DeLap lands a right hook to the body.
Snow seems to have got his legs back now.
DeLap throws a right and a left that Snow avoids nicely.
DeLap will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
DeLap swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Snow takes a jab right on the kisser.

DeLap fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
DeLap takes a swing at Snow's ribcage but misses.
DeLap fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
DeLap takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Snow checks a leg kick nicely.
Snow shoots in for a double leg but DeLap sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

DeLap closes the distance and pushes Snow back into the cage.
A hook to the body from DeLap.
DeLap lands a nice knee to the body.
DeLap lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Snow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as DeLap walks away with a smile on his face. Snow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
DeLap lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
DeLap uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

DeLap clinches with his opponent.
DeLap gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
DeLap lands a damaging elbow.
DeLap lands a hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt DeLap dominated that round.
The cut man is working on TooReal Snow's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


DeLap throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Snow gets a takedown into half guard.
DeLap slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Snow stopping the sweep attempt from DeLap.
DeLap has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Snow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Snow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
DeLap is adopting a defensive guard.
DeLap is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Snow wants to pass the guard but DeLap is keeping the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

DeLap tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Snow has gone for a leg lock! DeLap slips out almost immediately though and dives into Snow's guard.
Snow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Snow is looking for a triangle but DeLap pushes his legs off easily.

BOOM! DeLap connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Snow is looking to get to half guard.
DeLap lands a big elbow.
Snow gets back to half guard.

Snow tries to roll over but DeLap keeps him under control.

DeLap slips a nice elbow through Snow's hands, connecting with Snow's forehead.

DeLap lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
DeLap uses his free foot to push down on Snow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Snow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! DeLap connects with a massive shot to the dome!

DeLap goes for an armbar but Snow turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Snow.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt DeLap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Snow clinches but DeLap breaks the clinch
and DeLap cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

DeLap clinches up against the cage.

Snow has clasped his hands together around DeLap's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Snow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but DeLap is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Matt DeLap has got the better of the ground game so far.

Snow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, DeLap has escaped the position, nice work there.
DeLap is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
DeLap gets back to full guard.

DeLap wants to control the position but Snow says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Snow perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Snow is looking for a kimura here.
DeLap flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Snow is thwarting DeLap's attempts to control the position.
DeLap is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
DeLap is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back!
Snow manages to reverse the position and now he's in DeLap's guard. Nice work there by Snow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
DeLap thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Snow forces his way into half guard.
DeLap wants to control but Snow is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Snow is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so DeLap is just riding it out for now. Snow eventually gives up the hold.

DeLap is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back!

DeLap lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Snow.

Snow wants to escape the position.
DeLap has good solid back control here.
DeLap is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Snow. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Snow breaks DeLap's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
DeLap wants to sweep but no luck.
TooReal Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Matt DeLap is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Snow wants to pass the guard but DeLap is keeping the position.
DeLap will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Matt DeLap comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well DeLap has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
