Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralf Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mickey Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ralf Schneider! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans has Schneider up against the cage in a clinch.
Evans tries for a takedown but Schneider manages to get underhooks.
Schneider working Evans over with knees to the body. Evans fails to pull guard.
Schneider manages to break the clinch.

Evans moves into the clinch. Evans has a couple of punches blocked by Schneider.
The referee calls for Schneider to work.
Schneider stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schneider lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Mickey Evans has been cut. Evans has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schneider is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schneider pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Schneider looking to hit a scissor sweep but Evans is one step ahead there. Evans sitting in guard here, content to control. Evans won't allow Schneider to sweep him here. Evans is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Evans showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Evans won't allow Schneider to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Schneider looking to control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Schneider can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evans controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Evans gets tackled into the cage by Schneider. Schneider maintains the clinch. Schneider decides to pull guard. Evans is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Evans looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schneider wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Evans really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Evans is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans postures up in Schneider's guard and throws a big left but Schneider blocks it. Evans sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Schneider clinches up with Evans and pushes him back against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Schneider - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Evans is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Schneider pulls him back up using the underhooks. Evans pushes off an throws an elbow but Schneider leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Schneider's coach down at Montreal OG Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Schneider's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Evans gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schneider is looking to escape. Schneider wants to get back to full guard. Evans sitting and controlling from the half guard. Evans is looking for a kimura but Schneider is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Evans to get the leverage. Schneider is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Evans is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Evans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ralf Schneider will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mickey Evans's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Schneider instigates a clinch. Schneider is trying to stall.
Schneider avoids a wild elbow strike from Evans. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Evans. Schneider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Evans closes the distance and pushes Schneider back into the cage. Evans is trying to pull guard but Schneider has him pressed against the cage. Evans breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Schneider darts in and clinches Evans up against the cage. Schneider blocks an elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans drops down looking for an ankle pick but Schneider pulls his leg out and moves away.
Schneider throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Evans. Schneider tests Evans's chin there with a solid looking shot. Schneider misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Evans.
Schneider has closed the distance and engaged Evans in a clinch.
Schneider has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schneider is looking to improve his position.
Schneider is looking to control Evans's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schneider avoid being mounted? Evans trying to control the pace. Schneider is trying to stand back up but Evans is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans seems to be working for a kimura but Schneider defends the submission attempt. Evans controlling the pace. Mickey Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Schneider avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Evans. Schneider is looking to improve his position.
Evans looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schneider is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Evans scores with a couple of nice shots. Evans controlling the action here. Schneider trying to hold on to Evans's head to control him but Evans postures up.

Evans tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Schneider manages to circle out of the way. Ralf Schneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Evans takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Evans shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Schneider counters with a two punch combo.
Evans is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schneider scores with a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schneider moves into the clinch. Schneider pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Schneider scores with a takedown into Evans's guard. Oh Evans is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Schneider seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Schneider stands up and waves to Evans to follow him. Look low, kick high! Schneider uses the oldest trick in the book to send Evans tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Schneider is absolutely delighted - when Evans wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
