The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nation is looking to clinch but Bryan is avoiding it.
Nation feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bryan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Nation is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bryan pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nation avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bryan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nation wants to control but Bryan is having none of it.

Bryan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nation to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nation shrugs it off.
Bryan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nation manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Bryan avoids the strikes from the bottom by Nation.

Nation is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Nation is trying to work for a sweep but Bryan has mounted him!
Nation is looking to improve his position but Bryan isn't that keen on the idea.
Nation is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nation is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Bryan gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Nation is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Bryan is your winner!
