The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Pato. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pato.
Pato works the jab nicely.
Pato keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pato digs a good hook to Georges's body.
Georges on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pato closes the distance and pushes Georges back into the cage.
Pato lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Georges backwards.

Georges is trying to push Pato away but Pato has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pato pushes Georges back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Still in the clinch, Pato scores with a nice short uppercut.

Pato pushes Georges back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Pato pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Georges takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Georges throws a jab when Pato was well out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Pato on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Georges gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Georges is rocked!
Georges scores with the left hand. Pato knows he should have avoided that one.
Georges is still on wobbly legs! Can Pato finish him?

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pato drops Georges with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Georges looks back up at him and smiles so Pato waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pato drops Georges with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pato follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guillermo Pato!
