Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noe Patel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Tabor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noe Patel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lewis Tabor! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tabor tries to keep at a distance but Patel has taken the fight into the clinch. Tabor looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Patel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tabor walks away with a smile on his face. Patel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tabor stuffs the takedown. A countering left hand to the body from Tabor misses. Tabor catches Patel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tabor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Patel's waist but Patel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tabor off to one side. Tabor shoots in but Patel avoids the takedown attempt easily. Patel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tabor as he avoids it easily. Tabor throws a big counter head kick but Patel avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noe Patel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Patel gets in close and instigates a clinch. Patel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Tabor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tabor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Patel throwing strikes from guard but Tabor blocks nicely. Tabor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tabor looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Patel with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Patel throws the left hand but Tabor avoids the punch easily. Patel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patel lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Patel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tabor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tabor parries the strikes from Patel easily there. Patel is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tabor to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Patel landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Patel wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tabor, who protects the arm well. Patel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Patel is trying to get an arm triangle but Tabor is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tabor sprawls well initially but Patel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tabor has one foot on Patel's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tabor looks to land a combination but Patel avoids it well. Patel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tabor manages to avoid it. Tabor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lewis Tabor. Well Patel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
