Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jong Son Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jong Son Park has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Elmer Sharp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jong Son Park! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp takes a swing at Park's ribcage but misses. Sharp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sharp swings for the body but Park moves out of range.
Park shoots in and gets a takedown into Sharp's guard. Park drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sharp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Park has Sharp in his guard. Sharp controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sharp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Park swivels though and keeps the full guard. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Park has eaten all the pies! Sharp is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sharp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sharp throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharp controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Park swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Park misses with a body punch
and Sharp moves into the clinch. Park looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Park gets control of Sharp's arms and successfully pulls guard. Park will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Sharp controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sharp throws a big elbow that misses. Sharp slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elmer Sharp dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Park throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sharp was covering up waiting for the punch and Park finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sharp keeping full guard, as Park tries to pass. Sharp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sharp is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sharp working the head and body with strikes. Sharp tries to pass to full mount but Park defends it. Still in half guard, Sharp seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sharp throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sharp perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sharp is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Park can do to turn this around? Park is breathing heavily. Sharp looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Park with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sharp thows a huge punch but Park dodges it nicely.
Park keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sharp trying to control the pace. Sharp is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sharp not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sharp with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sharp shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park closes the distance and clinches. Park has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sharp clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Park is not going to allow Sharp to sit and survive in this position. Park looking for the choke from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sharp trying to control but not successfully. Sharp rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Sharp pushes Park off looking to stand but Park dives back in and keeps control.
Sharp preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sharp looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Park is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sharp is just riding it out for now. Park eventually gives up the hold. Sharp keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elmer Sharp dominated that second round. That's time! Sharp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Park shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sharp's guard. Park drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sharp looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sharp looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sharp! Sharp slows the pace down. Park takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sharp creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Park sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Sharp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park is looking to regain half guard here but Sharp keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sharp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Park avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sharp. Jong Son Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A lull in the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharp throws an elbow but Park slips to the side and avoids it well. Sharp tries for a kimura but Park is defending well. Sharp tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sharp moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sharp stuns Park with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Sharp misses with an attempted mid kick.
Park clinches up against the cage. Sharp looking for a takedown. Sharp is looking to take this one to the mat. Sharp has clasped his hands together around Park's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Elmer Sharp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sharp controls the position. Elmer Sharp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Park throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Elmer Sharp showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sharp, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
