Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrett Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattson Wafer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mattson Wafer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jarrett Coffey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarrett Coffey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mattson Wafer! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wafer moves into range and clinches up with Coffey. Coffey leaning against his opponent.
Coffey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Coffey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Coffey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Coffey avoiding damage.
Coffey's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Coffey gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coffey stalls. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Coffey for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jarrett Coffey. Wafer clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffey is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A bit of stalling here from Coffey.
The referee is keeping an eye on Coffey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Coffey has Wafer pressed against the cage.
Coffey manages to break the clinch.
Coffey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wafer is trying to defend but Coffey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wafer pushes Coffey off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafer moves into range and clinches up with Coffey. Wafer with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Wafer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The referee is keeping an eye on Coffey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

It looks like Jarrett Coffey has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wafer with an attempt at a knee that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Coffey has Wafer pushed against the cage. Coffey seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jarrett Coffey. Coffey rushes Wafer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wafer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

A head kick misses from Coffey. Wafer drives through and clinches with Coffey against the cage.
Coffey trying to control the position but instead, Wafer has worked for underhooks and has pushed Coffey into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coffey has Wafer pressed against the cage.
Coffey wants to break free but Wafer has control.
Wafer keeps control of Coffey as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Coffey trying to stall but Wafer improves his position.
Wafer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Coffey blocks it with crossed arms. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wafer lands a knee to the head.
Coffey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mattson Wafer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jarrett Coffey's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Wafer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Coffey blocks it with crossed arms. Coffey slowing the pace effectively. Wafer being controlled against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coffey stalling.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jarrett Coffey. Horrible takedown attempt by Coffey or perhaps it was just good defense by Wafer, which made it look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wafer has taken the fight to the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A knee to the head by Wafer.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Coffey is pushing Wafer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Coffey tries to break free but Wafer pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafer tries to land a knee to the head but Coffey blocks with his arms.
Wafer has Coffey pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Coffey is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Wafer - that's hurt Coffey badly! Oh, another knee lands and Coffey is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Coffey doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Mattson Wafer!
