Macarenco has chosen Burning Heart as his entrance music. Jon Doe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rubiao Macarenco's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rubiao Macarenco!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macarenco throws a body punch but Doe moves out of range.
Doe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Doe knocks Macarenco to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Macarenco being controlled for a moment.
Macarenco tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Doe has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Macarenco's body.

Doe slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Doe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Macarenco manages to get himself to full guard.

Doe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Doe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Doe happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doe moves into full mount!
Macarenco is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Macarenco is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Doe won't let Macarenco get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Doe takes the fight into the clinch.

Doe jumps guard and drags Macarenco to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

You get the feeling that Macarenco really doesn't like being in this position too much.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Doe counters with a shoot takedown. Macarenco fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jon Doe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Macarenco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doe manages to avoid it.
Doe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Macarenco looks to throw the jab but Doe is out of range.
Macarenco misses with a hook.
Macarenco swings for the body but Doe moves out of range.
Macarenco misses with a body shot.
Macarenco takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Doe closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Macarenco out cold! Macarenco corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jon Doe!
