Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hanley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hanley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dominguez throws a lazy head kick
and Hanley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dominguez misses the body punch
and Hanley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dominguez thinking.
Dominguez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hanley counters with a left to the body.
Dominguez throws a leg kick
and Hanley counters with a left to the body.
A shot to the body from Dominguez misses
and Hanley counters with a nice body shot.
Dominguez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hanley's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hanley wants to control the position but Dominguez says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Dominguez is thwarting Hanley's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dominguez moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dominguez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hanley is trying to escape and Dominguez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hanley is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dominguez! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rico Dominguez!
After the fight, Rico Dominguez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
