The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingchanklao lets loose with a powerful body kick. Malaki will feel that in the morning.

Kingchanklao slips a jab from Malaki.

Kingchanklao has closed the distance and engaged Malaki in a clinch.
Malaki wants to break free but Kingchanklao has control.

Malaki jabs Kingchanklao right on the nose. Kingchanklao blinks but takes it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kingchanklao fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Malaki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Malaki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kingchanklao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Malaki paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kingchanklao closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sirodom Kingchanklao decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
