The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Garcia stalling against the cage.
Dodson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Garcia avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dodson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Garcia is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dodson to the mat. Dodson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dodson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Garcia's guard.

Alexandre Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dodson fails to land the takedown. Garcia gets a clinch. Garcia is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Dodson sneaks out the side door and pushes Garcia away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Dodson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Garcia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dodson, pushing him back against the cage. Dodson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Dodson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Garcia gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Garcia wants the takedown. Dodson is fighting it off but Garcia persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dodson's guard against the cage. Dodson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garcia sitting in guard here, content to control. Garcia stands and throws Dodson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Garcia is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dodson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Dodson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Garcia controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Garcia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! You can see the frustration on Dodson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia staying calm. Garcia tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Garcia wants to control but Dodson is keeping him busy. Garcia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dodson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Garcia in side control, just content to control the action for now. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dodson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Benny Dodson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dodson rushes Garcia and presses him up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexandre Garcia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Dodson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Garcia tumbling to the mat - Dodson dives into Garcia's guard. Garcia manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Garcia goes for a double leg but Dodson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dodson continues to drive forward. Garcia shoots in and bounces Dodson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garcia stands and throws Dodson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia stands up and beckons Dodson to his feet. Garcia is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dodson's half guard. Dodson wants to control but Garcia is keeping busy.
Dodson won't allow Garcia to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dodson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Garcia. Benny Dodson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandre Garcia. Garcia connects with a solid leg kick. Garcia moves into range and clinches up with Dodson. Garcia avoiding damage as Dodson throws knees to the body.

Dodson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Garcia thuds his right hand into Dodson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dodson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garcia. Dodson tries to counter with a takedown but Garcia is quick to defend against it.
And that's the end of the fight! Alexandre Garcia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Garcia winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
