The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakkisormi shoots in but Poncherello avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nakkisormi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nakkisormi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Poncherello is trying to get back to full guard.
Nakkisormi wants to pass the guard but Poncherello is defending well.

Nakkisormi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nakkisormi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nakkisormi showed some decent athleticism there.
Poncherello is looking to improve his position.
Poncherello works his way to full guard. Good work.
Poncherello has his foot on Nakkisormi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakkisormi works his way back into a safe position though.
Nakkisormi trying to control the position from guard on top but Poncherello is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nakkisormi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Poncherello has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nakkisormi is looking to defend but Poncherello has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nakkisormi! Poncherello pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nakkisormi taps out and this one is all over!
