Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulover Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson Carlos looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Carlos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pulover Teixeira!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira lands a left and a right that send Carlos crashing to the mat, dazed. Teixeira thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Wilson Carlos has been cut.
Teixeira fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carlos sprawls well initially but Teixeira persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Teixeira is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Carlos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Carlos is not content to let Teixeira control the position.
Carlos keeping hold of Teixeira's head, controlling as best he can.
Carlos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Teixeira on the ground.

Teixeira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carlos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Teixeira.
Carlos wants to improve his position but Teixeira is controlling well.
Teixeira is looking to advance position but Carlos won't allow it.
Carlos is trying to maintain the position but Teixeira is very close to passing his half guard.
Teixeira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Teixeira is trying to control. Carlos wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teixeira is trying for a kimura here. Carlos looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Teixeira wins by kimura!
