Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osvaldo Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigo Santos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Osvaldo Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Santos! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen avoids the body shot from Santos.
Allen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Santos's guard. Santos trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Allen with a nice head shot there. Allen preventing the sweep. Allen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Allen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Santos's head. Santos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Allen gets to his feet. Santos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Santos shoots in but Allen avoids the takedown attempt easily. As Santos tries to get set, Allen tries to push him back and clinch up but Santos manages to avoid the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Allen showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen thows a huge punch but Santos dodges it nicely.

Santos has his hands clasped together around Allen's back. He's all about the action. Allen throwing shots but Santos is blocking nicely. Allen is thwarting Santos's attempts to control the position. Allen not landing any meaningful shots this time. Santos trying to hold on to Allen's head to control him but Allen postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Allen thows a huge punch but Santos dodges it nicely.
Allen tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Santos. Allen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Santos trying to control from the bottom.
Santos is concentrating on defense, preventing Allen from advancing position. Santos tries to roll over but Allen keeps him under control. Allen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Santos controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Allen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Santos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos trying to keep a closed guard but Allen is proving a slippery customer.
Allen stands up over Santos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Allen throwing strikes from guard but Santos blocks nicely. Allen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Santos looking to control.
Santos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Santos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Santos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Santos has his takedown stuffed and Allen counters with a nice body shot. Santos looks winded! Santos goes for a double leg but Allen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Allen continues to drive forward. Osvaldo Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Santos. Santos clinches with his opponent.
Santos is trying to pull guard but Allen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Allen is pressed up against the cage. Santos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Allen down to the mat. Allen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Santos has taken the fight to the clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Allen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Allen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Santos can do to turn this around? Santos is looking to regain half guard here but Allen keeps moving and retains side control. Santos takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Santos is looking to reverse the position. Allen working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen working the head with strikes. Santos defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos can't do much from the bottom here. Allen lands a decent elbow from side control. Allen decides to take the fight back to the feet. Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Allen has his takedown stuffed and Santos counters with a right hand to the body. Santos misses with a few strikes there.
Santos is breathing heavily. Santos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Allen to the ground. Santos is now in Allen's guard. Allen is wriggling around but Santos manages to pass to half guard.
Allen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Santos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Santos's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Allen is trying to stick to Santos's back but Santos is turning into Allen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Allen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Santos. Allen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Santos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Santos tries to stand but Allen is controlling from the bottom. Santos preventing the sweep. Santos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Let's hope that Santos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Santos slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Allen.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Santos stands up out of the half guard. Santos shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Santos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Allen. Santos throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Osvaldo Allen has been cut. Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side. Allen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Santos stalls. Allen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Santos's efforts to push away. Santos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Allen is defending well. A close second round but Rodrigo Santos will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Osvaldo Allen's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Allen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Santos's elbow. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Allen. Santos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Santos goes for a takedown in the clinch but Allen prevents it.
Still in the clinch, Santos scores with a nice short uppercut. Santos looking for a takedown. Osvaldo Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Santos. Santos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Allen pulls him back up using the underhooks. Santos goes for a takedown attempt but Allen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Allen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen forces Santos back against the cage and clinches. Santos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allen smiles and moves away.
Rodrigo Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Allen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Allen landing strikes. Allen stands up and we're back to a striking position. Allen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Allen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Allen connects with a couple of short punches. Allen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Santos avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Allen works over Santos with some ground and pound from guard. Allen throws a big elbow that misses. Santos avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Santos has momentary wrist control but Allen slips an elbow through the middle. Santos working a defensive guard here.
Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Allen is controlling him. Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Allen cracks Santos with a solid left hand. Allen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Allen preventing the sweep. Allen stops Santos from standing up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Allen gets tackled into the cage by Santos. Santos maintains the clinch. Allen pulls guard. Allen keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully. Allen pushes Santos off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Osvaldo Allen showed his dominance in that final round. I think Allen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
