Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Life Is Beautiful. Lynn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oh My Darling (Don't Cry) - By: Run The Jewels kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Junior Brandon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Lynn! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynn motions for Brandon to come forward. Lynn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brandon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lynn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Brandon throws a body shot but no joy. Lynn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brandon throws out the jab. Brandon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Russell Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandon tries to clinch up but Lynn circles away and keeps his distance. Brandon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lynn. Brandon appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lynn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Junior Brandon has been cut. Lynn looks to land a right hand but Brandon moved out of range. Brandon is looking for a counter combo. Lynn throws a leg kick that misses. Brandon drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lynn sprawls and moves away. Brandon shoots in and drives through. Lynn sprawls well. Brandon moves out of range of the strikes. Lynn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Brandon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brandon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lynn. A big right from Lynn misses. Brandon drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lynn sprawls and moves away. Lynn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brandon counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brandon in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Lynn can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon controls the position. Lynn regains half guard there - taking advantage of Brandon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Brandon throwing shots but Lynn is blocking nicely. Lynn trying to hold on to Brandon's head to control him but Brandon postures up.
Brandon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lynn is staying active underneath Brandon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lynn controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Brandon passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lynn being controlled for a moment. Brandon looking to control but instead Lynn has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Lynn is trying to get back to full guard. Brandon not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandon controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lynn is not content to let Brandon control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Brandon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lynn paws at him with a jab and circles away. And Lynn tries to counter it with a takedown but Brandon pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lynn tried to score with a low kick but Brandon checks it. Brandon throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lynn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Brandon staying out of range there. Brandon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lynn manages to circle out of the way. Brandon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brandon there as he acknowledges the shot. Brandon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brandon trying to control the position from guard on top but Lynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brandon stays in close to Lynn's body and controls the position. Brandon trying to control but Lynn is working from the bottom. Brandon looking to pass the guard. Brandon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lynn's guard. Brandon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lynn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brandon trying to mount his opponent but Lynn defends it. Brandon is just content to waste time from the top position. Lynn takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Russell Lynn will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Junior Brandon's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Brandon moves into the clinch. Brandon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lynn walks away with a smile on his face. Brandon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Brandon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Brandon is looking to score with low kicks. Lynn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brandon. Lynn misses with a left hand and Brandon counters with a single leg into guard. Lynn didn't expect that. Lynn keeping moving, preventing Brandon from controlling successfully. Brandon trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lynn manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Brandon controls Lynn momentarily but Lynn frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandon looking for a guillotine here but Lynn defends easily.

Lynn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brandon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brandon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lynn's guard. Brandon looking to pass the guard. Brandon trying to control but Lynn is working from the bottom. Brandon postures up in Lynn's guard and throws a big left but Lynn blocks it. Brandon is looking to work some ground and pound but Lynn has wrist control. Brandon trying to move into half guard but instead Lynn has managed to sweep! Lynn slips nicely into half guard. Brandon is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandon keeping hold of Lynn's head, controlling as best he can. Lynn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lynn working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Brandon trying to control from the bottom.
Well, if Lynn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brandon continues to stall. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lynn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lynn wants to control but Brandon is keeping him busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lynn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brandon. Brandon fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Junior Brandon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Junior Brandon's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A low kick from Lynn misses and Brandon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brandon. Brandon controls from within his opponent's guard. Brandon trying to control the position from guard on top but Lynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brandon controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brandon trying to control but Lynn is working from the bottom. Brandon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Brandon tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynn is retaining full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Brandon moves forwards but Lynn connects with a nice, crisp jab. Brandon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A combination from Lynn does no damage. Lynn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brandon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lynn controlling the position for now. Lynn wants to get back to full guard. Brandon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Brandon slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Brandon trying to control from half guard but Lynn is working away. Lynn manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brandon trying to control but Lynn is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Brandon clinches up against the cage. Brandon tries to pull guard but Lynn forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Lynn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lynn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brandon misses with a wild combination.
Brandon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lynn finds it's way round the side to connect with Brandon's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brandon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lynn. A punch combination from Lynn misses. Lynn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Brandon ducks under a wild hook from Lynn. Brandon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Brandon is looking to clinch. Lynn feints the counter takedown. Lynn throws an off balance right hand
and Brandon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lynn! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Brandon lands an elbow. Lynn struggling a bit here. Lynn regains half guard there - taking advantage of Brandon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Brandon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lynn keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Junior Brandon. I think Brandon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
