Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Flux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Woodley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Flux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyron Woodley!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Flux as Woodley shoots in.
Flux lands with a thumping leg kick.
Flux lands with a kick to the ribs.
Flux tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Woodley throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Flux counters with a nice kick to the body.
Tyron Woodley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Woodley or perhaps it was just good defense by Flux, which made it look bad.
Flux misses with a body kick.
Woodley misses with a double jab
and Flux counters with a head kick. That will keep Woodley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Woodley takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Flux counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Woodley moves into range and clinches up with Flux.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I was talking to Flux's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

and Woodley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Woodley tries to land a front kick but Flux steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Woodley fails to land with a series of punches.
Flux stuffs the takedown attempt from Woodley. Woodley gets slowly back to his feet.
Dante Flux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyron Woodley.

Woodley doesn't manage to clinch there - Flux circles away.
Flux is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Woodley can do to turn this around?

Woodley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flux moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flux is fending him off so far but Woodley persists. Nope, Flux circles away and we're back to standing.
Flux looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Woodley throws a right hand that Flux ducks under and follows up with a left that Flux also avoids with ease.

Woodley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Flux manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nice straight punches there by Woodley. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Woodley.
