Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reno Rawlings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). North's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Men at Work - Down Under. Rawlings has chosen Burned as his entrance music. Miles North has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miles North!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reno Rawlings!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawlings throws a one two combo.
North throws a solid leg kick but Rawlings takes the impact on his shin and smiles at North.

Rawlings decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rawlings slips a nice elbow through North's hands, connecting with North's forehead.
Rawlings is controlling the pace.
We've been hearing good reports from North's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
North really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rawlings wants to lay and pray for a moment but North keeps working.

You can see the frustration on Rawlings's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

North fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

North has hold of Rawlings's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rawlings manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rawlings is looking to improve his position but North isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rawlings is wriggling around trying to escape.
North unloads with some shots from mount but Rawlings bucks and avoids them well.
North will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

North throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Rawlings is rocked!
Rawlings is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rawlings is still in real trouble! Can North finish him?

Rawlings slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
North seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rawlings does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rawlings seems to have recovered his senses.
North is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Rawlings tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Rawlings is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of North's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take North's back!

Rawlings has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of North's face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close round but Reno Rawlings will probably get the nod.
That's time! North's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

North tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rawlings is able to avoid easily.

North throws a sloppy head kick and Rawlings moves out of range easily.
Rawlings scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
North walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rawlings checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

North is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rawlings pulls his head out easily.
Rawlings wants to control but North is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rawlings is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Rawlings wants to lay and pray for a moment but North keeps working.
North is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rawlings scores with a couple of nice shots.

North can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rawlings controls the pace.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rawlings working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Rawlings with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Rawlings not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rawlings working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rawlings is looking to pass to full mount but he's left his head exposed in the process. North has locked up a guillotine and regained full guard. He's really cranking on it - this could be the end! Is it? Is it? No... YES! YES! He's tapped! I didn't think he was going to get it there for a minute but he did! Well done North! He waited for his chance and took it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Miles North!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Miles North waved his t-shirt featuring Pit Bull Development's logo in front of the cameras.
Reno Rawlings was interviewed post fight and said '(Dracul laughs... he then disapears.)'.
