![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Kane gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zelenoff. Kane takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kane scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Zelenoff being controlled for a moment. Kane has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kane is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zelenoff looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kane gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zelenoff is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kane lets go of the hold and Zelenoff can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Boris Kane!
