Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Patton! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patton dips to his left and cracks Chamakh with an uppercut! A big right from Patton misses. Patton dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Patton throws a body punch but Chamakh moves out of range. Patton wants to clinch but Chamakh slips to the side and Chamakh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chamakh. Patton has a closed guard, preventing Chamakh from standing up. Patton working a defensive guard here.

A big left from Patton misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Patton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Patton. Patton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chamakh but Chamakh pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chamakh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Patton throws out the jab. Patton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Patton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. And that's the end of the fight! Karim Chamakh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chamakh, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
