The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles shoots in and drives through. Thomas sprawls well.
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Charles.
Thomas keeps the fight on the outside.
Charles avoids the body shot from Thomas.

Charles on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thomas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Charles throws a head kick but Thomas moves out of range.
Charles ducks under a wild hook from Thomas.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thomas, as that shot connected.
Charles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thomas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Charles slips a straight right by Thomas.
Charles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Charles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A slapping leg kick lands for Thomas.
Thomas scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Charles is rocked!
Thomas rushes Charles and presses him up against the cage.
Oh Charles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Charles has clasped his hands together around Thomas's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Thomas sneaks out the side door and pushes Charles away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Thomas feints a jab and as Charles dips his head, Thomas unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Charles right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Charles falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Thomas smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tim Thomas!
Tim Thomas bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
