Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Astrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Kilpi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpi has chosen Solid Base - I Like It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Elvis Astrok has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astrok stuffs the takedown.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Astrok enables Kilpi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Astrok manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Astrok manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Kilpi goes for a takedown attempt but Astrok pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Elvis Astrok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarkko Kilpi.
Kilpi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kilpi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Astrok tries to bum rush Kilpi with a series of wild strikes but Kilpi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Astrok is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Astrok throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kilpi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Astrok throws a looping overhand right but Kilpi ducks down to avoid it.

Astrok is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Astrok fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kilpi manages to avoid it.
Astrok misses with a hook. Kilpi ducked under it nicely.

Kilpi is looking to take a break and control but Astrok is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Astrok is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kilpi asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Elvis Astrok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A lull in the action here as Kilpi stalls from top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Jarkko Kilpi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Astrok fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kilpi to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kilpi looks to clinch but Astrok throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kilpi taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Elvis Astrok!
Elvis Astrok seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
