Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes to the cage accompanied by Chad VanGaalen - Blonde Hash. Gun comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Turbo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Timmy Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Gun! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Ellis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Gun avoids the body shot from Ellis.
Ellis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ellis jabs at Gun's body. Ellis misses with a looping left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis throws the left hand but Gun avoids the punch easily. Ellis scores with the left hand. Gun knows he should have avoided that one.

Gun throws out a counter right but Ellis avoids it with no problem. Gun connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ellis's hands. Ellis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A big right from Ellis misses. Gun looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Gun takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gun misses the shot to the body. Ellis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ellis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gun's head. Gun has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Ellis connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gun misses with a body shot.
Donk. Gun catches Ellis right on the button with a cross. Gun misses with a right hand and Gun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ellis connects with a single shot there. Timmy Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ellis looks to land a left hand but Gun moved out of range nicely. Ellis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gun moves away. Gun swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ellis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ellis there as he acknowledges the shot. Ellis looks to score with a jab to the body but Gun is just out of range. It seemed like Gun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gun bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ellis's head backwards. Ellis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ellis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ellis throws a punch but it's blocked by Gun. Come on Ellis - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Gun is looking to break free of the clinch but Ellis has double underhooks. Ellis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ellis effectively controlling the action here. Gun wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ellis has him pressed against the cage. Ellis landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Ellis is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gun is defending well for now. A knee to the head by Ellis.
It looks like Tommy Gun has been cut. Ellis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ellis scores with a shot to the side of Gun's head. Gun takes a knee to the side of the body. Ellis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gun blocking some punches.

Gun misses the shot to the body. An attempted straight right counter from Ellis misses the target. Ellis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ellis throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ellis gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ellis has Gun pressed against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gun wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ellis has him pressed against the cage. Gun blocking some punches.

Ellis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gun has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gun tries to break the clinch but Ellis is controlling the position. A short left from Ellis. Gun lands a nice uppercut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ellis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ellis misses with a knee strike.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Gun. Gun blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Ellis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gun avoids it. Ellis lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ellis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ellis scores with a jab to the jaw. Ellis lands with a straight right. Gun didn't see that one coming. Ellis looks to score with a jab to the body but Gun is just out of range. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ellis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gun. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ellis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Gun takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nice uppercut lands for Ellis. That snapped Gun's head back.
Gun throws a shot from downtown. Ellis moves away and avoids it. We've been told by Ellis's head coaches at Elite Strikers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Ellis throws a body shot but no joy. Ellis misses with a hook to the body
enabling Gun to counter with a crisp jab. A punch lands to the side of Gun 's head but he takes it in his stride. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis scores with a jab to the jaw. Gun swings widly with a right hand
and Ellis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis lands a nice shot that snaps Gun's head back.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Gun blocks an uppercut.

Gun tries to break free but Ellis pushes him back against the cage. Tommy Gun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis lands with a left to the head. Gun has had enough of the clinch but Ellis keeps him there for the moment. Ellis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gun blocks it with crossed arms. Gun on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ellis breaks from the clinch.
Ellis stuns Gun with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ellis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ellis swings widly with a right hand
and Gun counters with a nice uppercut. Ellis just misses with a punch to the body.
Gun lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ellis is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ellis darts in trying to clinch and Gun counters with a huge left! Ellis is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gun isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ellis from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gun!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Gun! Tommy Gun decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
