Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abbas Shahriari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramazan Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov instigates a clinch.
Shahriari stops a takedown attempt from Magomedov.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Magomedov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Shahriari's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Magomedov has Shahriari up against the cage in a clinch.
Shahriari turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shahriari manages to end up in side control.
Magomedov wants to get back to his feet but Shahriari is dominant here and he's now got Magomedov's back!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Shahriari controlling the positon.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Magomedov is trying to get back to his feet but Shahriari has full control of the position and if anything, Magomedov has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Abbas Shahriari will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Shahriari is stinking the place up with his stalling.
Shahriari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magomedov keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Magomedov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Magomedov has Shahriari pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shahriari manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Shahriari tightens his grip and picks Magomedov up, before dumping him to the ground. Magomedov manages to land in guard.
Shahriari is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Shahriari shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Magomedov's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shahriari goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Shahriari thumps Magomedov with a low kick.
Shahriari decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Shahriari wants to pass to mount but Magomedov is defending the position.
Shahriari takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Shahriari has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
