The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Masa counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Masa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Huber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Masa throws a right and a left that both miss.

Huber drives through and clinches with Masa against the cage.

Masa wants the takedown. Huber is fighting it off but Masa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Huber's guard against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Huber closes this distance looking for a takedown but Masa circles away.

Masa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Well, if Masa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Masa seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Huber is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
